Not me! my answer is always ……hell yes, bring it on! It’s my favorite type of portraits to shoot. Here’s why: Multiple colors take a lot of attention. By taking them out, you give the viewer the opportunity to focus on the message and emotions. Sometimes, the use of too many colors simultaneously provokes different feelings and can leave your potential client confused. When faced with such a dilemma, why not try a singular color to see if it achieves a stronger connection?
NON WARDROBE RELATED THINGS TO REMEMBER
This isn’t exactly wardrobe-related – but I can’t stress enough how important it is to take good care of yourself in the few days leading up to your session. After all, you paid good money for these photos, right? For any of my photoshoots, I recommend getting makeup, hair, and nails done. These small, but professional, touches can go a long way in the finished product. After all, when we feel our best it shines through. So why not show ourselves some love and kindness along the way!
